Are you in Napa? Stop by Tannery Bend on Saturday Sept 22nd and visit the studio of Joan Jakel. She is a marvelous mixed media creator and exhibiting some new works, and collage journals. Check out Joan's offering of art classes and workshops for an amazing experience.  Joan is also welcoming artists Katrena Edman, Art of the Automobile and me!  Katrena creates amazing art work around cars.  Have a car buff in your life? Then you will love her work.  I will have some painting displayed in Joan auxiliary space. If you need a splash of happy color, these pieces are for you.

Sometimes a painting takes a long time to decide on what it wants to be. This is one of them.  Many layers, with pieces of trail maps, acrylic transfers, paper snips, and lots of paints!  You have to just go with the flow of it.

​I am happy to announce that my paintings are part of a three artist showcase at The Westin Versa Napa.  The energy and spirit of these two artists, Joan Jakel and Sunshine Moeschler is amazing.  If you are in the area stop by the Westin and peruse the art, enjoy a glass of wine, and bask in this incredible Napa Valley community spirit.  The artworks are on display through March.
